I really REALLY *really* just want a radiator that's as light as possible while still being able to cool the car on street and circuit (with the AC) on par with the stock rad. I'd seriously give something like that a look - don't care if it's half size, quarter size, full size but thin etc.

Our cars are nose heavy - anything within reason to remove weight on the nose = better handling.

If somebody comes up with something like that, I'm pretty sure the AUtoX boys will be all over it.

How would the CBRD time attack rad work on the street? I know time attacks "racing" and all but it's only for a few laps...

the fin density on our TA rad is about double a normal rad with more passages.... it needs to be moving to cool adequately... the rad we use is for an LMP/IRL car.... not the same brand, but the same core itself.... double pass.....

we can do a nice drag radiator... but i really need dimensions.... we dont build drag cars... so i dont have a kit to use for measurements.

I would like to see a full size that could take the place of the a/c condensor for some of us guys and alot people that are now going with no a/c....

That would leave a ton of room imo....

I agree with the first part you wrote 100%

Chad, look in my signature. My car was built with all buschur parts and im running their hta35R with header. The stock radiator fits fine (with a/c)...just using a slimline fan.

I would love to see a radiator half the size that could be road driven to a degree. The weight savings would be awesome. I'm not sure how much thicker you could go though, without hitting the turbo set up...Buschur would have to chime in.

PM me if you decide to make this as I am super interested.

dave's fan setup is thicker than ours... they also use a very nice fan...

i could do something.... thicker isnt always better... .dual pass may be key.

I'd be down with a dual pass half rad and if you could hook it up, a new condeser for the a/c. I would love to lose the weight and get my radiator away from the turbo.

but I refuse to give up a/c and put in a half rad. a 3/4 rad would be great...or even if we could move the rad placement or something.
+1 This is pretty much the same thing I have to say. I don't care what you guys comes out with, all of your solutions are fantastic, so as long as it fit, I'll sport it!

ive always toyed with putting a small rad in each front corner of the bumper, porsche 911 RSR style, ,but then they'd have to vent out thebumper.

Weird idea...but would a half-height radiator work? Lower centre of gravity + ligher weight?
