HELP?! Flywheel...ACT or Gruppe-S

I'm tryin to decided which flywheel to get before i order tomorrow! I was thinking about getting the ACT HDG6 & ACT Streetlite Flywheel from Nolimitmotors for 739$ but then Tamer told me about the Gruppe-S package...ACT HDG6 & the gruppe-s flywheel for 649$...just just wondering if you guys could help me out with deciding on which one...is the ACT flywheel worth the extra money or not?

I have the gruppe-s flywheel and it's a quality piece, no installation issues, mated with starter properly. I purchased the Exedy Stg1 with this flywheel and then drove for 6K miles with an incorrect clutch pedal adjustment. Saw a video from Jack's Transmissions and set my pedal right and bled my slave cylinder.. which eliminated high rpm lockout and poor pedal feel. The lighter flywheel takes a little off idle torque away but makes the engine rev a little easier and maybe even adds a few whp up top. I dont have the ACT to compare it with, but the gruppe-s flywheel does its job.

The truth is you can get lock out on any clutch if it's not adjusted properly or the disc is warped or bent. I used to get locked out with my stock clutch and then had it adjusted with no issues after that. The 3rd post in this thread has a guy with a Exedy Stage 1 that had lock out. Here's a thread with with people that have lock out on twin disc clutches https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=364508.

As far as the flywheel goes, they both appear to be quality pieces. Choose the one that suits your price and offers the best after sales support in the event you have a problem with it. Good luck.

ACT HDSS. Trust me I have adjusted it up, down, left, right, front, back, diagonal, and sideways.

It never had the issue for the first I'd say 40k. Then one day doing some spirited driving "hey that was wierd" "WTF" "HUH". Adjust, adjust, adjust. NOPE

Oh well it'll last untill I get the motor built. Then the Twin goes in
