4G63t Engine Book? Engine Build

I am an experienced car guy... so long as it doesn't involve engine internals I am looking to read up on engine building in general as well as the specifics of the Evo IX motor with MIVEC. I would like to start a side project of building a stroker motor for my Evo for the purposes of learning (and of course power), but want to do some homework first. Yes, I realize that 'side project' and motor build don't really belong in the same sentence, but this is something I would like to get acquainted with and have some relevance to my car.

Sooo, anyone have any recommendations on reading material that can get me started on the 4G63t?? Thanks, as always EvoM!

I have this book. I haven't picked it up in a while but if I recall correctly it helps you with upgrading the car such as turbo, cams intercooler and does not deal with engine internals.

I might pick up the Buschur book just as a reference for everything else I want to do, anyone know if its new enough to cover the updates to the motor with the IX (like MIVEC)?

Ill check out Amazon for something as well and post what I find.

Keep the suggestions rolling in! Any good websites?? Thanks all!

http://www.amazon.com/Build-Max-Perf...4267586&sr=8-1

This is Amazon's offering, which looks like it might be a good book on this subject, but its not released until jan 15, 2009...

I also had no idea Amazon sells auto parts! I got Exedy clutches for sale when searching for 4g63t!

Beat me to the bump! and I think that must be the same book Amazon is advertising. I am amazed that there are no other similar types of books or manuals given how long the 4g63 has been around. Thanks for the continued input.

the book looks ok, just might pre-order just for the read lol.

i have it as well but its 160MB so nowhere to upload it. if your interested let me know.

Well I think I will buy up the Buschur Book and Pre-order the Max Power book.

Anyone know of a good basic engine building book? I have a good couple of manuals for my Ford 351W but none of them are really construction guides, more of 'if this is broke, do this' types. Thanks!
