To E85 or not to E85. That is the question

the closest one to my house is 10 minutes away, across th street from my school, and guess what?
it still sucks! sure the power is great, but what if you have to drive very far? I've panicked when almost running out of gas and driving to a far away car meet. lol.

It pays off to have a couple 5 gallon gas cans in your garage so you can top off e85 before you go somewhere so you dont have to go out of your way to the station.

Guys, once again, the car is not daily driven, so I could care less where the nearest E85 station is located. Im buying a drum at a time... My question is about my clutch holding........ No slippage now, just wondering others opinions on the matter when 40+whp is added..... Also, any type of ignition amplifiers or anything like that, that I should add

With the newfound torque, the stock clutch will hold for awhile, but you will eventually have to replace it. On pump gas I was only making 326whp/317wtq with no signs of slippage and when I made the switch to E85, I am now making 385whp/403wtq on a conservative tune boosting only 27psi. I can have a lot of fun driving in the street which is what I basically do anyways, but if I go in the highway and put some load on it, like stepping on it in 4th or 5th it does slip a bit, so I am taking it easy for now.

And you don't need no ignition amplifiers or anything like that, just E85, fuel pump and a tune.

He has 880cc injectors so he will be fine there. I really want to see what those Cosworth M3's do at high boost

to answer your question about the stock clutch tnt1106 puts down around 430hp on a stock clutch w/ a red. it will hold a stock turbo and e85. launching will kill it though

i have 42,500 miles on my stock clutch and make 418whp with e85 and guess what no slipping issues whatsoever. I do however baby the car. I havent done a single launch running e85 (only 20 in its whole life), but shift at 7200 a couple of times a week and no prob. This will be good to brag about when i sell the car since it says how carefull i am with it.
