Is there a trick to why some modded evo's shoot flames while others dont? I'm tuned to 11.5AFR in my open loop is this why? I was stock tuned for a while and I still never got any flames. I figure if it was running rich there would be more unburned fumes to ignite? Am I missing something or am I just a noob?

all that stuff can play a role into flames

 

I think I've only maybe done it once, shifting by almost 6500K when I had been driving calmly on the highway for about 1 or 2 hours.

 

1 to 2 foot flame everytime I bounce it off the rev limiter. BOOM!

 

just a quick question.....what is an Evo 9 MBC, and do you have a tune, because its not in your sig. if not, that the reason your shooting flames.

My car never shoots flames, unless I bounce of the rev limiter by accident, then a nice size fireball pops out

 

you need and antilag system and a rich mix of gas on your ECU!!! lol
