47r is your best best bet if you want fast spool.

Daily driving the RED is awesome spools similar stock turbo and great top end. The HTA35r is the bigger and badder turbo no question but on a stock block and basic bolt ons the RED is the better choice. check my signature. I'm on STOCK cams too.

^^That is nice! The FP RED sounds very tempting with stock bottom. Can the stock bottom hold the FP RED @ +30 psi?

I want to build a race motor! I think the normal boost for FPRed is 30psi on pump and moore boost on race gas! That just because i want to know how many hp will be on 30psi on pump?!

Not trying to highjack this thread but
Deuce329 at what RPM does your car spool up at; and reach full boost with the FP Red and stock cams?

You first have to decide your power goals. Since you mentioned dd, street and track your should be OK on Red. But if you want ***** out hp get the HTA35R.
Last thing you want to do is keep on buying parts again, and again. Save time and money.

ok guys so i just got an fpred for my car not to long ago. my power goals im looking for are 410-430whp on pump gas with 91 octane. my mods are in my signature and honestly its not the numbers im interested in. i just want to get the most out of the turbo and still have reliability. the only other things im going to do in the future are bigger intercooler, gsc s2 cams, springs, retainers and valves.

My FP red has been run at 30psi for about 40000mi. Hell I even injested the gasket btwn the turbo and exhaust mani. I also have never upgraded the line past the first ss oil feed line from the cyclinder head. i did not even make that upgrade until it was made manditory for warranty purposes at the time. lol
