rerouting the throttle cable

is there anyway to reroute the throttle cable so i can get it out of the way? ive seen several pictures of setups where it does not run across the valve cover like it does from the factory, any suggestions?

you can run it behind/under the intake manifold, and have it loop around by the ABS module to come back to the throttle body. pm me your email ill send you a pic of mine!

Bend it back to form an S shape. Use the clip that held the throttle cable in the stock location and attach the clip onto one of the solenoid bolts on the top left of the engine bay. Insert the throttle cable on the clip and your done.

This sounds like a simple mod. Any problems with it binding? Also some pics would be nice.

I did this. It made my gas pedal too stiff and it felt like the trottle was sticking. I put it back and it was fine.

No issues with mine; I've had it rerouted for almost a year. I just flipped it over and bolted the mount that was on the valve cover to the firewall.

it does not stick at all, because the routing is smooth transistion along the firewall and then does a gradual sweep under the intake manifold ( vsr ) in my case. It has been routed this way for almost 2.5 years.
