Installed Buschur intake CEL now on

Well i just installed my buschur intake, started up my car and my dad decided to pull out the sensor cable to rerout it while it was on. So my CEL light came on as soon as he did that and the engine reved up kinda high. My question is how do i get rid of the light? its anoying. Any way to do it myself or do i have to take it to the dealer?
BTW the intake is great, awesome sound and it seems to accelerate somewhat faster.

Remove negative terminal from battery for ten minutes. When you put it back on and start up, CEL should be gone. Don't forget to let the car idle so the ECU can learn the new air/fuel ratio!

I wish I could get the Buschur. Still looking for a CAI buyer... *sigh*

Hey, it worked, thanks for the info, i wasnt sure what to do
BTW try selling it on ebay. I was trying to sell my stock wheels here for only 200 bucks and nobody wanted them, i put them on ebay and got 310

I may. Also, couple questions.

Could you measure the distance from the intake/filter to the fuse box? I want to see if I could get both the intake and Buschur's mini-battery kit.

Secondly, where was the filter hot? The bottom, side, both? Would RRM's be better with their heat shield, or would the RMR's fuller heat shield solve the warmth?

its not much room just a few inches if that, ill do it when i get home. It was just warm, but i was driving it really hard. I left the stock air flow thing, that was on the stock intake, whatever its called in, and it is direclty in front of the filter, so im sure that helps.

Cool, thanks a million. I may have a buyer for my CAI, so hopefully I can join you soon...



If it helps, here's the battery I'm hoping to get from Buschur (pic is of an Evo engine bay, but same concept). It's pretty small, so even a couple inches would be enough, I believe.

Yeah, I was hoping the angle of the photo was misleading or something. Could you still get a pic straight on from the front for me?

Oh well, I think I can live with the extra 20 lbs. Or I could see if they'd mod something for the stock battery location.

Did you notice anything hard about the ram install?....or does it need any mounting?...i just got my buschur intake the other day

nope, it was extremely simple, taking out the old box was harder then installing the new intake.

im just afraid of bustin some of those MAS bolts =/ and not being abke to secure my intake on the MAS

From playing with the MAS bolts for my CAI install, I don't think you'll have a problem. It was pretty easy.

Mine had some locktite on them, when taking it off of the stock intake, i had to get some vice grips to hold the other side, because the plastic broke and it just kept spinning on one of the bolts.
