I have a rubbing noise which seems to be coming from the pulleys area and cannot pinpoint it. Its almost the sound as if I was pressing the plastic came cover against the gears. And it doesnt sound as fast as the pulleys are spinning. At idle, the rubbing sound goes every 1 to 2 seconds. And its just a quick "scratch" sound over and over. I have an IX. Just curious if anyone has had anything like this before I tear into it and try to find out what it is. I don't think it would be anything serious as the motor only has 25k on it. Just a very annoying sound.
