I got a cltuchmasters stage 3 installed (with stock flywheel because of lack of money) about a month ago and for about the last 2-3 wks ago it has been making a creaking/rubbing noise when the pedal is about halfway engaged on take off..the weird thing is that it only does it intitially, once its warmed up it stops.
Also when i hear the noise it feels like the cluth is trying to disengage/slip..maybe has to do with the throwout bearing? need some help

 

hmm no responses..should I move this to the drivtrain section..I figured it was too vague for that??

 

I had a bunch of cm clutches that did that same thing, all i can say is chose a diffrent clutch. There good for a drag racing and thats about it.

 

And also did you get your flywheel resurfaced when you put that clutch in?

 

as far as I know it was..

 

If it was not resurfaced than thats your problem, and now you will need a new clutch disc aswell
I would just get a diffrent clutch cause ive always had bad luck with cm clutches.
