I think BR dynoed a 7-10 WHP gain on a 65 mm TB and port matched intake manifold TB inlet.

I see you sig if your going to do the red turbo and you have the money and don't mind the extra down time of porting the manifold and TB. Then do it.

Beyond the horsepower gains, you'll see crisper throttle response. That's important on the track coming out of a corner. And with a 65mm MIL.SPEC throttle body, it comes with high pressure throttle shaft seals so you won't have to worry about boost leaks

It isn't going to do much of anything to your spool but like previously mentioned the throttle response is very noticable. When you tap the gas pedal on a stocker there is that hesitation in RPM's. With a ported tb/im, that hesitation is MUCH less. Not to mention you do pick up a few ponies. If you do decide to do this upgrade, do yourself a favor and pick up a case of beer and bandaids. There are a few knuckle busting bolts under the mani that attach to the bracket. I'd also suggest to have the mani coated while its off the car.
