So pm me that "low fee" you charge to port my IM. Hell, quote me a package deal including VIII turbo with 9.8 hotside.

Im pretty sure if Im getting good results with solid boost at 30+(above Red was stable to like 35-36psi no problem) then 20 should be no sweat.
i did it when i put my new turbo on. it was out anyways and i intend on upping the boost on some race gas. it also has a FP WGA now. so that may have contributed also. the tune is the WORKS P2. no issues at all anymore- other than fuel prices...

yeah a RED would be nice, but right now money is tight. real tight. my car didnt have the twin flapper on it when i disassembled everything. weird. it was a single flapper 9.8 that i traded in to FP when i got my new turbo. i did gasket match everything on the hotside, as well as the stock exhaust manifold. i also installed the Invidia o2 housing at the same time. big difference in spool characteristics...

that was a forge as well. I really like the forge unit. I ran it on my unported stocker and it even helped a bit on 91oct so Im pretty sure the stock wga isnt up for much. particularly 24-25psi on a viii turbo as shown in the graph. That hotside was one of my first that I did as well and I have had a chance to see it off the car and see where the dead air was. Surprisingly enough it was flowing really well.. Actually a little better then my own turbo.

Dude you shouldnt waste your money with me.. Buy a 10.5 hotside first. Then if you still want me to port it for you just shoot me a pm and Ill be happy to try and work something out for the intake and hotside but honestly I wouldnt feel right taking your money to port a 9.8 when its cheaper to buy a 10.5

Thanks, interesting the comp cams performed well for flow. There specs show the biggest E-I overlap (like over 40*). My guess the red doesnt make much turbine backpressure. I will never know for sure until I actually get the red installed and see the boost vs turbine psi curves on datalog. Stock turbo backpressure is scarey BTW. Sorry for OT but good info, for me at least

no problem. I don't do this to get over on people. My customers know what they are getting right from the start and I make it real clear what would be in their best interest. No smoke and mirrors and no sales pitch other then results.
