Sounds like they're trying to screw you. I don't know anything about Drivetrains but I know the tranny and T/C are two different things so I would take my **** to another shop. I hope you didn't okay him to do it. I would call right away. They're probably like any other shady shop and they're going to take it all apart anyway. This way they have you by the ***** because you're going to have to pay for their labor.

can't stand local shops I just got to my dealership where my buddies are and hes as **** as me when it comes to working on cars! I would get your car out of there because who knows what they are doing to your car I wouldn't trust them one bit with it there-JOEYD

What are you talking about? Everyone has told you THEY ARE NOT CONNECTED, I had a Tcase go bad and replaced it with no problems at all, again they are not connected, they are ripping you off.

Wow someone just got bent over. Never take an EVO to a local repair shop. Its not a chevrolet pick em up truck that shade tree billy bob knows how to fix. I bet once they get it back together they will have to take it on a test drive also. Watch out my man.

Good luck man it sounds like these jokers have no clue what they are looking at. TC comes out totally separate from the tranny. Id be leary of what they are actually doing to your car

honestly i would tell them to stop , pay them for what they have done and then and then take it to a pro. in the end these might cost you way too muh money. do they even have any experience with evos?
