EGR valve, need help!

Hey, Need Help!

Ill make the long story as short as possible

Put new fuel rail in, car was running funny but ran good for a bit.

Car ate spark plugs (black carbon tips)

Few weeks later, put regular rail in.
But now, get engine codes:
EGR System
Evaporative System

Help?

Also, car pings at high RPMs

Im pretty sure its the EGR valve, is there any HOW TOs on how to change it? (i searched but no luck)
Or does anyone know where it is? (somewhere on intake mani?)

Please help, as i am trying to get inspection, because it expired.

Thanks!
Any more needed info please let me know

Search on this one. A number of people just take it out and use a block-off plate to cover up where the EGR valve goes.

There is one post, put in EGR removal and you will get a bunch of search results.

I had my shop put in a block off plate as well and removed the stock unit.

That answer is literally in the link I put up for you.

There is a CEL fix if you get rid of your EGR.
