I finally got all the parts on and I spent a good deal of time yesterday setting the timing, installing the belt ect, installed the oil pan and rear main seal. Installed the valve cover and temp installed the plugs. I turned the engine over by hand 5-6 times. Its ready to go in when I get back from my vacation.

I havent decided that yet. I removed it while the engine was still in the car. I have super long extensions and swivel sockets so I am not too worried about that.

 

I liked bolting on the intake manifold after the motor was in and the transmission/ transfer case was attached. For me it made that installation go much smoother. Looks like a great build!

Taking it out was easy. It was reaching back down to find them to put it all back together!
