Greddy Type R BOV

I have a greddy type r blow off valve just sitting around from an old project. I was wondering what I will need to make it work for the car?

Is there a kit I can buy? Somebody told me a kit for a 2nd gen eclipse will work. Can anyone confirm this?

They should have something that will help you install that BOV on there.

thats a bit large and space is the main concern. I have the flange you will need at www.blowoffvalves.com and a recirculation fitting if required.

Personally, I'd love to see a Type R installed in an EVO and would do anything I can to help.

I had the Greddy Type-S BOV on my Eclipse. It wasn't made for big boost. If you adjust it to hold high psi it won't blow off properly & you get compressor surge. Dial out the compressor surge (which is nearly impossible, even all the way threaded out) and you get crazy boost leak.

Never tried the Type-R but I believe it's just a beefed up version of the Type-S, so you'll probably get even MORE compressor surge than the type-s.

Just my $0.02
