It is $799 retail
I will sell it for $635 plus $35 shipping so $670 to your door (well worth it for 20 whp !)
It has a 3.17" in piping with 5" muffler and 3.5" tip
Fits AWESOME and sounds like stock but deeper.
It is all stainless steel and mandrel bend with NO bends almost.

More to come so stay tuned !

It is made for the Evo VII but is an absolute PERFECT fit for USDM Evo VIII (test fitted by a friend of DRC Imports) with NO bumper clearance issues or rubbing. MORE TO COME !!

Look for DRC Iports to start selling these by Monday !

Yeah, I have this installed on my EVO... Just got it on 2 days ago and I LOVE it

20WHP sounds about right. I had it baselined and redyno'd on a Mustang AWD Dyno. As some of you know, MDs some MUCH lower numbers then DynoJets and DynoPaks... I like it more, but some people get disappointed with the low #s.

Lets put it this way...

STOCK - I put down 194.5HP@6500RPM & 214.2TQ@3750RPM
AFTER HAYABUSA - 209.3HP@6250RPM & 219.7@3500RPM

Approx 15HP and 5Ft/Lbs 250RPMs earlier. Boost stayed the same (stock) 19psi dropping off to 14ish after 5600RPMs... There's a signficant leveling off of torque right there (as one would expect).

I should also mention, the "stock" run isn't exactally stock, a Blitz DD BOV was installed with it VTA...

Weight - WOW, about 18lbs (7 for midpipe, 11 for muffler).

Sound - AMAZING, as Dustin said very stock sound but DEEP and a tad louder... let's 'em know somthing is there, but doesn't attract EVERYONE in traffic.

Look - Again, stock look. 5ish" muffler with a 3.5" tip (kinda like the Tanabe Super Medallion). The angle of the muffler in the pic is NOT what it looks like in real life. Tucked a lot further up, or maybe its just the camera angle of the APEXi shot.

Install - BOLT-ON...yes, you read me right. Although it says its for an EVO VII, it fit my car PERFECTALLY. I told the shop that installed/dyno'd it (Payn Tech in Troy, Mi) they would probably have to add an inch of piping, but NO! All they had to do was notch the flange a tad so it wouldn't make contact with somthing under the car (not sure what it was, some bushing)... could be installed without any mods, but it COULD have made contact and some noise.

I have pics (they're terriable, taken in the rain, just bad) but I just got a G4 and cant yet figure out how to get them on here... =)

Gimme a little time.

Oh, and I think retail was $899, not $799...

I know APEXi isn't known for quiet exhausts(N1) but this one looks nice!! My JIC Ti system sounds pretty good with a downpipe, deep and not loud enough to be obnoxious. How much louder would the Hayabusa get with a downpipe??

Well , I got some info on this exhaust over the past couple days and a EvoM member I talk to on AIM gave me this link so I figured "What better to generate some buzz about the Hayabusa than a thread that already exists and not a vendor sales thread"

It also helps me measure the hype before selling it to see how much effort and learning I should put into this exhaust. There is a lot more to doing this than just posting sales threads. I like to communicate and chat with members about products and it helps me be a better vendor.

IT FEELS GOOD TO BRING A YEAR OLD THREAD ALIVE WITH CONVERSATION

Thanks Matt !

I really need to see a pic before i make my final decision... 3.5 outlet just doesn't impress me unless it sits nicely at t the rear bumper...

I agree. Most N1s sound like a pack of bees in a paper bag. I have a GT Spec on my FD RX-7 and, well, that was an RX-7 without cats... 'nuff said.

This Exhaust is AWESOME!!!! I was terriably worried the 3" piping would make it tooooo loud, but NO! It sounds amazing. I've had people ride with me and not even realzed there was an aftermarket exhaust on it.

Well worth the $$$ and the wait.

Ah , well if retail is $899 , I will sell it for $750 shipped and not $670 shipped. Still a great price on a remarkable exhaust !

I think the exhaust looks nice (liked the look of Tanabe Racing Medallions too) but not crazy about the angle. Is that 20whp with just the catback, or full turboback?
