Yes but it has 2 holes less!
Also is 1.2 mm instead of 0.8mm!
These are the only two differences.

holes are for cooling or oil return?any one running them without cooling problem?

The Evo IX head gasket is thicker? I wonder if the VIII gasket could be used safely instead to give a slight bump in compression?

So can you use the IX gasket on the VIII or not? I have heard it was fine to do so....

Good question as I'm after a new head gasket for my Evo IX. Maybe a nice way for a bit more comp

You can use evo 8 HG on an Evo 9.No problem at all.Just a little more CR!
