Hopefully you catch a break and everything is fine when you get it back together but if not, BR 2.0 + Stage 3 head ought to cure your blues
Surprisingly, I'm not as upset as I thought I would have been, u know.

My Father-in-law is a mechanic and is going to get a scope from work on friday. We will be able to drop that down into the spark plug holes to see if there is any damage. IF not, I already talked to Nick a BR about getting a tensioner/pulley/new belt. THey are actually cheaper than the Mistu dealer that's closest to me I love those guys and the fact that I live so close to their shop.

Mellon, if there is damage, that will be my cure. However you forgot, I want the BR 2.3 + stage 3 head Might as well get the BR cams and a FP red while I'm at it.

Nah, I'm gonna use this scope that my father-in-law is gonna grab from work first. If that doesn't get us anywhere, I'm gonna haul it over to BR's shop.

Man that really sucks. Chances are if that belt slipped and you were hearing noises it's already too late.

Off to Buschur's

Good luck

Update:

Well, doesn't look good. My father-in-law brought over two different scopes to try out. It looks like cylinders # 1 and #4 made slight contact with the valves as there looked to be some marks on the top of the pistons. There also seemed to be shinny flakes of metal siting on all four cylinders as well.

ep3a2, I pulled the valve cover off too and everything looked perfect, so it must not have been that bad. I'm going to call Dan at BR monday and probably tow it over depending on his schedule. I'm so glad I live 45 minutes from BR's shop

So, I might be rocking a new BR shorty and stage 3 head. We shall see.....

Thanks for all the help everyone!
