Need an education: Swapping 05 ACD Tcase internals into 03-04 non acd Tcase
I dont have the best understanding of the non acd and acd transfer cases, i am looking for a little education.
I have a 05 acd transfer case and a 04 non ACD transfer case. Is it possible to simply swap the lsd out of the 05 tcase into the 04?
the goal here is to go to fully mechanical diffs in the car, dump the acd and lose a little more weight.
Any help is much appreciated, when i searched i only found people looking to add acd to their 03-04.
