Also wanted to know if there would be any issue if I didn't clean out the oil that's sitting in the spark plug holes. I was plannin on replacing the plugs here too, and wondered if it would cause an issue if some of this oil fell through, I'm assuming it won't but wanted to hear what you guys thought.

Well, you don't want so much oil going down the spark plug hole that it fills the combustion chamber - that could bend a rod.

The rings don't ever seal perfectly - there is always some blowby. So, any internal pressure on the valve cover is a product of blowby.

Make sure your vent hose off the end of the valve cover is not plugged. Also, the PCV valve should rattle when shaken, should seal when blown through in the engine direction and have no restriction when blown through in the manifold direction.

Yeah I need to make sure my vent hose isn't clogged. I thought about that myself last night. Thanks again barney you're a lot of help. I appreciate it.

Cool thanks for the help fellas. Checked my vent hose on the valve cover and it appears it's clear. Gonna get my gaskets tomorrow, and will hopefully have it fixed tomorrow night. Getting really sick of having all this oil in my engine bay. hope it doesn't damage or degrade anything.

Well last night I replaced all the gaskets on the valve cover. I'll give it a few days of gettin on her to see if she starts spitting oil again. Hoping this solved things, time will tell.

thanks for all the help guys, much appreciated.

Okay I am so pissed right now. Last night I went and replaced all the gaskets to the Valve cover. And I thought that would fix this issue, but today I realize it hasn't. Has anyone else ran into this issue, it's driving me nutz.

Here are some pics:

I have no idea where the oil is coming from. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

Here's where the oil is concentrating, I just don't know where the hell it could be coming from....

Wow, my only guess is maybe a crack somewhere? Maybe something you can't really see. That's nuts.

Good luck, bump for you.

Def not the oil cap. As you can see from the pics there's not that much oil around the cap. But thanks for the help dude.

Gonna get this biatch done tonight. Hopefully this will be the last time I have to take of this VC for a while.

Lates,
