Will it take the punishment??

I've got a 3-hour endurance race next weekend and basically, I was wondering if the EVO motor will take the punishment.....

I was thinking of dropping boost down to 15psi to look after the motor, and am trying to get hold of enough race-gas to run the whole event, but it looks like I'll have to run on pump 92 (Mexico's best pump fuel).

As I'm sure the question will be raised; yes I drive hard and was a pro-racer for many years, and by pro-racer I mean I was payed to race (feel like an idiot saying it, but I know that someone will ask about the nut behind the wheel).

I honestly don't think it'll want to take more than 1hr at full throttle (it's a fast track) and I'm worried that by weeks-end I'll be forced to order a BR stroker

Anyone gone through a similar experience??

BTW, most of my mod's are in my signature. I'm on a stock short-block.

Thanks guy's and please speak up, I'm kinda concerned

**EDIT** for some reason I can't see my mod list in my sig, I'll post it up now..

I think it all boils down to, no pun intended, how well the engine can shed off heat.

That's what I was thinking, and was considering, amongst other things, richening my AFR's a little to help out.

Anyone else?

Just detune the **** out of it, and maybe drop the boost down a tad.

I would also run a little bit thicker oil if your still using 30 wt.
