I wished you had at the time asked me to work with you on this issue, we would have done everything in our power to make this work for you. Moreover; we were unaware of the FP JPipe setup when you ordered. If you want an exchange for a EPM O2 Dump that is guaranteed to work with the FP JPipe I will more than willing to offer you one free of charge. I thought you were satisfied with the power gains that our product netted you. Also can you take a picture of the dent you speak of that CBRD did to your Wastegate tube, I'd like to see just how severe it is...thnxxx...

Lastly, let's see some results from some of these other O2 Dump Manufacturers. We at EPM are the Only company to go public with all of our data.
+1

Any time I've seen an issue brought up with EPM's dump (not many at all, BTW), someone from EPM has stepped up and offered a solution.

For instance, the issue with ETS' new LP2 LICP. EPM has gone so far as to work with ETS and make sure their dump fits with this new LICP. And like Q said, they've come up with solutions regarding the Evo Red (one of those solutions I've taken into consideration regarding the dump I purchased from EPM).

I am in no way bashing or trying to take any business away from JM Fab. They have a beautiful looking piece and I'm sure it performs as good as it looks. I'd like to see some dyno graphs and comparisons to EPM's dump, which as of now is the PROVEN best performing dump on the market. There is always room for improvement, and I'm sure if the JMF piece out-performs EPM's, that EPM will improve their design. Such is the industry... competition breeds improvement and innovation.

Thanks to those that answered.
i too questioned this a long time ago . so did epm question it them selves.
they tested it against a smooth transition and found better gains with their step transition design. this goes against all theory and known improvements from smooth/transition free apertures/tubing. but in this case the expanded chamber makes so much gain the loss from the step transition still made more gain than a non expanded chamber but smooth transition o2.
i have said to epm that if the expanded chamber design and a smooth transition or even full 3" flange was utilised the o2 would flow even better.
but as said a bespoke downpipe would be needed adding massively to costs for a little gain over the not perfect but awesome bang for buck epm 02.
rant over

I am in no way bashing your product all im saying is i know how much time you have put into this product....youve put extensive research and development into producing a product that works and is really taking off in the evo community...it just made me mad at the time that i had to be the first to find the problem out

your customer service is awsome but tryign to rectify my situation well do no good because I well just have to spend more money to fix the problem....i well have to pay to remove it which at CBRD is not cheap (there record speaks for itself on the great work they do) and shipping cost, etc....thats why i never got back to you because fixing the problem well just be more money out of my pocket on top of the money i have already spent to get it right....Iam in no means b1tching at all im just saying the dump is still doing its job it just doesnt look right lol

I have an MPFab O2 dump (modified eBay O2) & I've been very happy with it. It was the only thing available at the time I purchased it. While I don't doubt that my O2 dump or any of the others mentioned are nice & work well, I would get the EPM housing if I were to do it again. It is the only housing that I have seen results for & thats the key here. No one is saying that the JM housing & others are not nice, but they need to post up some test numbers so that people know for sure what kind of gains to expect. I am more curious to see numbers for the MAP O2 eliminator pipe since it is the only one without a hard transition from the O2 housing to the downpipe. Could be a nice setup & it's inexpensive.

Shacochis06-----I appreciate all that you've said about us and our product.

Let's end this now and let the OP and this thread get back to the topic at hand.

epm and jm's customer service are great and they provide helpful informations... but qtp was a turn off for me.

after seeing a recent review on qtp's o2 dump, i sent qtp an email regarding the guarantee on quality and fitment. heres their reply to me:

Jon

What do you mean a quality piece. All our pieces and make the same way. All tig welded, 304 stainless steel, that is polished. Maybe you should buy another brand if you don’t know if we are up to your standards.
