What do you mean a quality piece. All our pieces and make the same way. All tig welded, 304 stainless steel, that is polished. Maybe you should buy another brand if you don’t know if we are up to your standards.

What I'd like to see is some dyno sheets using the JMFab dump.

My intention of this thread was not to bash any other o2 dumps out there. Not at all. I just know there have been fitment issues, and that's expected with new products. I didn't know my thread would turn into an EPM vs JMFab war

I've read some very interesting things.

One reason I'd like to go with JMFab is because they're close to me, and with shipping all said and done, it's about the same price, if not cheaper. Plus I'll get it sooner, and IMO The JMFab does look better. But most importantly, does it perform better? Well, I don't know yet. I want to see some dyno sheets, JUST adding the JMFab dump. I already know the EPM is proven and I have no doubt the the EPM peice is made well, but I feel I'm taking a chance getting one to fit. I trust JMFab's fitment to be a little better only because I haven't heard of any fitment issues with a JMFab dump yet.. I almost went with the QTP dump until I saw it. The dump collecter is obnoxious and MAJOR overkill.

I'm still on the fence about EPM or the JMFab. I'll buy either or, but I'm leaning towards JMFab for the reasons I mentioned previously. I want to see proven JMFab results before I make any purchases though

Oh and the chick in my avatar is some chick off a flickr page. The dude just shoots random hot asain chicks. I love hot asian chicks http://www.flickr.com/photos/isaku/

Also about JMFab being overlooked, they don't promote themselves very much on the board. I think if they did a little more advertising and were on the board more, they'd defiantly get more attention. They're products look to be top notch. They defiantly have my attention.

It's definitely hard to promote on here when the boss-man is working 60+ hour weeks, I'm working overtime, and our other guys are spending all their free time cleaning up from being in the polishing room.

We let our happy customers and vendors help spread the word though.

do you have the time to wait? jmf o2 is new so you will need to wait until lots have been sold and fitted before consumer feedback confirms averaging gains and averaging fitment issues if any.
the epm has these already or take a chance on the new product! it might be worse, it might be the same, it might be better. 3 chances imo

I believe 2 different full 2.5" designs were tested and both made less power than the final 3" design that was decided upon.

I agree that a lip on the inside of the lower flange is not ideal, however testing showed that it did not influence the performance of the part. It's simply one of the compromises made due to clearance and 3rd party DP compatibility.

I hope this helps clear up some questions.
I hope this helps answer your questions as well.

As mentioned by another member earlier in the thread, I believe that a full 3" design built off the current, unique radius of the EPM housing would be the ideal bolt-on O2 housing and make the most power. However, that would include pairing the housing with an EPM downpipe as well and increase the cost of the unit.

I cannot speak for EPM, but I believe that they agree and are considering this option (O2 housing + DP combo).

I just saw the photos of JM's stuff. It is nice to see the quality level on the rise for Evo components. In the end it benefits the community to see quality products. This make it easy to spot the real fabricators from the posers. Good job JM. Indy

Wow, that's some good power! What I'm looking for, though, is a before and after of just the additon of the JMFab dump and what the average gains of JUST the dump are.

Fitment is great. Two things I had to do to make 100% perfect fitment was grind a little off the DP flange, which took me all of an easy 5 minutes with a bench grinder and bend the AC line about a 1/4" out of the way. I lightly tapped it with a rubber mallet.

No issues with the ETS LP1 LICP. I much prefer the JMFab over the EPM that's on my new Evo. I bought this Evo with the EPM already on it. The install was enough of a hassle on my old Evo that I don't feel like swithcing to th JMFab on this one, so I'll just keep the EPM on.

No matter how well the o2 housing fits, the install will always be a little difficult. It's the bottem nut that threads on to the bottem stud off the turbine housing that makes it just a pita. I didn't remove my radiator either. Removing the rad. would make this much much much easier. I recommend doing so.

Thanks for the answer man!

Will the JMFab O2 fit with the ETS Version 2 LICP??

And what Down pipe did you use with your JM Fab O2?
I have a 3" TurboXS Down pipe with a donut flange, not a flat flange - do you know if this will bolt up ok?

I need an O2 Dump ASAP but need to see if it will fit with what I got. Where can I get answers about JMFab fitment??

Thanks for the help dude!

The JMF o2 housing should bolt up fine to any of the flared donut gasket style downpipes, with the above clearancing to the DP flange that sometimes may be required. That all varies depending on the overall size flange the manufacturer uses on their downpipes. Sealing with the donut gasket should be as identical to the stock o2 housing then. The dumptube drops over towards the driver side of the compressor outlet elbow so almost all lower ic pipes that bolt to that should work fine.
