advice needed for boost controller?

i have 2 options im looking at a greddy b spec for 175.00 local or a gizzmo off ebay for 250.00(new)

here are the specs on the gizzmo cant find the ones on the greddy-The Gizzmo MS-IBC is the competition boost controller for the serious enthusiast. In developing the MS-IBC, out aim was to design a boost controller that would cater to the serious drag racing professional while still being quite at home on the streets. Gizzmo's multi-scramble IBC takes the conventional scramble one step further.

A conventional scramble function allows the user, upon the push of a button, to run higher boost for a temporary period (e.g. 2lbs extra for 5 seconds). Gizzmo's multi-scramble function allows the user the option of again pressing the button before the scramble time has completed to add the same amount of boost again and refresh the original time duration.

The MS-IBC is packed with all of the features required for competition while still being a great looking controller that is easy to use and install.

CONCEPT:
The MS-IBC is the competition boost controller for the serious enthusiast.

CHARACTERISTICS:
* Adjustable up to 50lb (3.5 bar) * Selectable open/closed loop boost control * Remote scramble/boost memory facility * Real time digital boost gauge * 40mhz high speed RISC processor * Extruded aluminum case * Multi-scramble boost * Over boost warning * 6 boost memories * Simple 2-wire installation * Suits internal and external wastegates * Comes with all installation accessories

im looking for some track use and street use that is the goal for the car
thanks

I kept it simple and purchased a Forged MBC from Buschur Racing. Adjust, set, and ready to boost on.

A MBC is the easiest thing to adjust, plus you can get a good boost gauge for $50. IMO, I'd rather concentrate on driving, rather see a visual analog gauge with a needle then look a digital number. Too many settings on a EBC , then you don't look at the road ahead. That's my opinion though.

dont have one, but bump for the AEM true boost gauge. my buddy has one on his jdm swap 200SX and showed me how it works and it is pretty legit...fairly simple to use and easy to read. check it out it the price is not bad either.

a hallman MBC is way easier to use, less expensive, and is better than the profec B...

Electronic boost controllers can be made to work just as well as their manual boost controller counterparts, but with a lot more flexibility.

But scramble boost is just a gimic. You want to run a certain boost level for your specific tune. Deviate from the set boost level, even for a short period of time, could cause catastrophic damage to your car.

You pick an electronic boost controller for its ability to not only set boost but also stabilize boost to your liking. For instance you should be able to control initial spike and also how well you want boost to hold.
