?? for parting out the motor people

Hi im about to part out my evo with all its mods.. I plan on parting out part by part. So instead of pulling the motor all in one I want the option of pulling part by part.. So my question is does anybody have a write up for this.. Or can anybody give me ideas on where to start and what to do first.. and what to beware of.. I know draining all fluids pulling axles out etc.. But just trying to get some good advice/closure before I start this project..
Thanks to everyone who can help.. Thanks I do appreciate it...

It might be useful to post the modified parts that you're intending to sell, so that someone could give you some advice.

anything like rods/pistons/cams/springs-retainers/ etc etc. I would attempt to just trade for a stock motor plus cash in that case.

As for everything else, if you need the stock parts just consider the cost of used parts, and take it out of the price of what you are asking.

good luck

Remember to bag and label all bolts and parts. Taking apart the engine is not really difficult, its putting it back together thats the hard part. You may need a couple of special tools as your taking it apart. One I can think of offhand is the crank pulley extractor.

Im going to sell it as a shell.. So nothing has to go back together.. But thanks for the comments.. Im going to bag it all as i go for part for part..Just wanted to know if there is anything hidden as i go..
I have so much in parts where im going to make a little of my difference and then offer it to someone as a complete shell clean title.. Im sure it will sell faster that way then waiting like everyone seems to now with the great economy..
