anyone go GT30R to GT30R HTA??

I'm contemplating doing a HTA conversion on my 30R'd Subaru. Although this is an evo forum, a lot more evo owners do big turbo swaps than Subaru owners so that's why I'm here. Does anyone has any experience of GT30R vs GT30R HTA? Has anyone ever done the HTA conversion on your the 30R ? I'm wondering what kind of gains you have gotten, whether it was faster spool or more top end.

Thanks in advance

There are several threads here on 30R variants to HTA dyno tests. Take a look around with the search feature and enjoy. 3076HTA, 35RHTA, and Evo Red HTAs all have good info posted.

I suppose it will vary if your desired boost is different!

20 psi for me def came before 4k. In everything 3rd and above.

On a non-HTA3076, I get 25psi @ 4.4K in third and 3.9K in 4th on a stock bottom end. 20psi in third is well before 4K. This is with a 1.06TS turbine housing, SMIM and slightly retarded cams for better high RPM power. Car recently made 401whp (460whp DJ) on a low reading Dyno Dynamics dyno @ 26psi and 93octane. It trapped 124mph. Now on E-85 it has trapped close to 128mph @ 25psi( roughly 500whp DJ) . I'm currently out of fuel pump. I've got a Bosch044 that will be inline w/ a surge tank. I've been lazy and haven't implemented it yet, but it should allow for 30+psi and more hp although I'm pretty sure this GT30 is about done

wow i'm very excited!!! my 3076r .82 A/r will be up and running tomorrow. Does anyone know how much boost i can run on meth with 91 octane? I'm running stock block but with all supporting mods including HKS 272's and also any ideas of how much power I should expect to see. Thanks guys
