somethings wrong and i dont know whatt

so i got my car back. the only thing new is an ets tbe. i got my car on wednesday and now today my car was sputtering really bad on the highway my boost would go to 5 and spudder really bad. when i got off the highway 1st 2nd and 3rd gear. no boost what so ever. later on it worked fine. then it did the same thing. we changed the spark plugs and recirculated my bov bc it was non recirculating. my car is the same. sometimes it will spike to 21. then it will only go to 15. then sometimes 5 or nothing at all. i dont have a boost leak that i know of because we checked everything.. what could possibly be wrong

start with the easiest thing and do a boost leak test. Easiest thing to do and most likely before going crazy.

help!!!!!! i talked to a shop and they said my blow off valve might be stuck open bc theyve seen that problem with greddy rs. im putting my stock diverter back on and if its not that because of my new exhaust and the cat delete it could be something with the o2 sensor and it could be causing fuel cut. which one do u think it might be

fuel cut is usually the side effect of over boosting....is it that loud thud sound u hear and ur engine sounds like it shuts off for a split second? yes that's fuel cut from overboosting. the engine does it to prevent damage to the cylinders and adjacent parts. turn your boost down and see what happens

also do a boost leak test

Like others have said, do a boost leak test. Also, there is really no reason to run an aftermarket BOV on the IX with minimal mods. The stock resirc valve is more than sufficient.

I'd also stick with the IX diverter valve which is superior to the Greddy RS anyway.

The rear o2 sensor doesn't have anything to do with the fuel trims or your tune, it's just here to verify the cat is doing it's job so I'd rule that out.

Did you install anything else aside from the turbo back exhaust?

I've seen some bad exhaust leaks that would cause similar symptoms and actually had a similar problem when my buschur catback separated from my muffler and the car wasn't boosting correctly and running poorly on my old talon. If the ets uses slip fits I'd make sure they are fully sealed and if they use 2 bolt flanges I'd make sure you used gaskets and retorque them to eliminate any possibility of an exhaust leak.

i did 2 boost leak tests and its not boost leak. i brought it to a really good shop and they couldnt figure it out. i put the stock diverter valve back on that did nothing. although my new aem intake just came in and i installed that and the problem so far seems gone. im guessing it had something to do with my stock airbox..

hmm its fixed now? Seems weird that the stock airbox would effect it.

I bought my car with an k&n open cone filter intake and I put the stock intake back on and it ran like ****. It idled incredibly low, stalled and drove horrible but when I put the k&n it came with back on it ran great.

If your car was used the previous owner could have had a different tune that is conflicting with your current mods.

Definately could be the tune. I've experience airbox problems as well. If your car is tuned for one thing, you can't change the setup around a whole lot. Mine ran perfect when I put my Injen intake on.

they did a boost leak test. another place also did one. both came back ok. soo i dont have a boost leak.
