Curious who the really good shop was that diagnosed the car in CT and what they suggested?

On topic I would get the car tuned asap. You have been on the site a while......and waiting for your car for a long time as well if I remember correctly.........so its bs to not enjoy it now that you got it back.

I bet a tune will help fix much of your issue. Plus, I wouldn't want to drive around with an air intake and tb exhaust without a flash anyway.

Besides three shops in CT, right off the top of my head, you could also use mellon who is good as well. Tune the car.

Have you checked to make sure all the vacuum lines are connected correctly?

it really does sound like a boost/vacuum leak.

Sounds like you need to go back to the stock IX bov/diverter and get a tune asap.

thanks for the referral Mulholland

It almost sounded like the stock airbox snorkel was getting sucked up against the underside of the hood killing the airflow, that's happened before but now it has a cone filter on it right?

I'm beginning to wonder if it's a bad boost solenoid. I would try a MBC. If it were a massive boost leak it would be consistent, yet his car seems to be all over the place.
