Waste Gate Servo Error

We used EVO scan to try to diagnose a problem and need some assistance. The problem is that the car is only holding boost to about 13 PSI (stock turbo and bolt on mods). We tried adjusting the waste gate actuator arm but there was no difference. We are running an aftermarket boost controller (Blitz). The error indicates that solenoid B is bad. Does anyone know if the aftermarket boost controller would use a stock solenoid or would it need to be replaced with the aftermarket boost controller manufacturer's solenoid?

Also, we might be barking up the wrong tree. We did make a mode that might have created the issue. We changed to an aftermarket blow off valve and changed the configuration to 50% recirculating and 50% to air. It ran fine for a month then started going into limp mode with limited boost. We then changed the configuration of the BOV to to 100% recirculating but there was no improvement. I'm thinking about putting the stock BOV back in to see if that changes things.

Any opinions as to whether it is a waste gate or BOV issue?

Thanks.

Sorry My Thread title is a little misleading, I meant Solenoid not Servo. Can't figure out how to change it.

Have you performed a boost leak check?

We checked all of the hose connections and tightened them up. Would a boost leak still trigger the solenoid error code? What else can we do to check for a boost leak?

The aftermarket kits tend to use their own boost control solenoid and controller.

So, does anyone know if a boost leak would trigger a bad solenoid code or is it most likely a bad solenoid?
