Theres tons of factors tha determine he lifespan of a motor. Who built it, what parts were used, how much power it makes, the overall tune, how well you take care of it, etc.

No one can tell you. It would be interesting to see some people come in here and say how long their builds have lasted and say who tuned and built the motor... Could make for some good feedback.

i had a built motor in my 300zx tt lasted 2500 miles before it said good bye. my evo built motor is almost 2 years old and has over14000 miles on it and is still going strong ( knock on wood ). evo is so much easier to work on and cheaper to own than a z.

The 2.3L Buschur Motor is one of the stronger motors.. Revs is what kills motors and because the 2.3L limits to 8500 RPM it should last a very long time..
