Tubular Header ?

Which tubular header is the best one for the best gains? I am looking to get a new tubular header for a gt35r turbo kit but am not sure wich one to go for. Can everyone give me their opinion. I want to know which one you like, use, and why?

Ive dealt with AMS, ETS, and Full Race, but I cant vote. With the equal length headers, you wont see much difference between brands if any, as for as power gains. Quality from those 3 is also first rate, no complaints at all.

When buying a kit, buy based on quality, reputation, price(your budget), customer service, and completeness. Weigh each out and go from there.

I bought an AFI one because I used to have one on my honda. Great company with great results. Full spool with a gt4088r on a stock 2.0L honda motor was 4200rpms and took it all the way to 9k rpms.

FWIW everyone that runs the stuff on their car is gonna suggest that company. Most people on this site are probably running a buschur or ams.

I came from the honda world, where some of the best manifolds are either full-race or afi. Some of the manifolds on here I have seen are somewhat questionable. But they all look to work according to dyno plots/boost plots etc etc.

I know for a fact that JMFab, Megan and Invidia only make stock replacment manifolds. There aren't any T3 flanged manifolds listed on their websites anyway.

This was an easy one. AMS all the way here. Just look at the AMS header and how they taper the runners to length etc.... You can tell this wasnt just a header thrown together... There was alot of actual R&D that went into this and quality is top notch as with all AMS parts.

IMO Shear Fab. Manifold.. Quality is just as good, if not sometimes better then the listed. They hold a well respected reputation when it comes to Fabrication. They can be quite expensive but therefore worth every penny.

The Buschur Racing tubular T3 manifold is the Shearer Fabrications piece. I switched over to this excellent manifold from an ETS equal length unit...I prefer the Shearer hands down. I'm not a fan of way AMS flanges the wastegate off the turbine housing opposed to off the manifold itself just most units. That just falls under my preference though, as my friend has that manifold is making great power with it same way I am with my Shearer one

My buddy and I have the exact same builds. Only difference is I have the Shearer/BR manifold and he has the Full Race. We make exactly the same power and run exactly the same times.

Proves what I said, power difference is small to none. Craftsmanship is the only difference, and I dont think a Shearer will fall apart anytime soon, they do awesome work.
