David Buschur likes to tape right after the turbo, but that is generally a lil cooler.

 

He likes to do that because its safer, in the event that a Broken egt probe eats your turbine, It is a consideration, but not one I have ever worried about much, my 20G ate one and nothing happened. The APEX'i EGT's seem to take out turbos consistently though
