quick question
Any difference between a stock evo 9 j-pipe and a stock evo 8 j pipe? or (outlet pipe, the little black one)

i dont believe their is a difference between the 2 pipes. i used my stock evo 8 j-pipe on my fpgreen. i do know the lines are different between the 2 turbos.

the j-pipe is the first pipe off the turbo cold side. bolts right to the turbo.

Ah. I'm pretty sure they are the same. But I've only seen an 8's one time and i don't remember it well. Looked a lot like mine.

If i remember right the the VIII has the vacuum port on the actual turbo. The IX turbo has it on the J-Pipe. So, if you get rid of the VIII turbo, you have nowhere to hook up your boost control.

The J-pipe is the pipe that bolts to the compressor side of the turbo. It connects right to the LICP.

Are you swaping out the 8 turbo for a 9?? because i just got done mine this past weekend.
