I've had a Perrin intake & filter for about 2 months, and while taking the MAF out to clean it today, discovered the flange on the Perrin heat shield, which the filter slips over, has started to separate from the heat shield, like the metal has cracked. I took pics which I'll try to post up later tonight.
Not impressed with the quality at this point...

Eric,
I bought one of those last year and the quality of the kit was very poor IMO. There were numerous fitment issues. Returned it and ended up running the perrin filter, vibrant adaptor and samco intake tube. Much happier with fitment.

John - I thought about putting together a hybrid intake, but CBRD recommended that intake when I was having them put in a BBK turbo, so I went with it. I have other Perrin items that are pretty good, so I was surprised by this. BTW - thanks for the tip on the rear camber last year. Slaloms are much better this season!
GG06MR - I agree - I can fix it but for the price I paid I shouldn't have to.
Kracka - I sent Perrin an email and am waiting to hear back from them this week.
