i got the same bov like yours and i ran it vta, so i cover the hole on the intake pipe but if you want to recirculate it you'll gonna have to get the recirculating kit.

That's pretty funny. I guess it works though... Although weird looking, it works perfect as a cap for that hole. If you take it out, you will have problems driving and idling.

I have been driving like this for almost eight months with no problems! The car idles fine no low boost bov flutter. Do you think i will cause problems like this or should i get it fixed asap. My only concern is i live right down the street from cobb tuning and im gonna be getting a accesport and a protune and the boost is gonna be turned up. is the stock bov gonna leak?

if u really wanna fix it , dont close it up or cap it......put a tiny filter there it will do more good den harm , but im pretty sure that a bov as a cap would be very secure i mean have u ever actually tried pushing on that thing with your finger?strong *** hell so your good

the stock bov is also recirculated to the icp. not just a cap. is this gonna cause and problems? also will it leak boost when i turn the boost up i only plan on running 21 or so. or will this not be a problem since i have the other bov? that may be a dumb question.

ok ill do that! My greddy bov sounds great right now. its pretty loud already but it has a great sound! The guy i bought the car from said a place called turbo tech did the work on the car so their is a chance they set it up this way. But he also could have did it himself since alot of people install their own intakes. I know on my previous cars i did.

Put the bov back into the filter the way it was stock. And please...from now on, don't touch your car anymore. I've seen way too many of your threads to see how the future of your Evo's going to end.

Now that I took a good look at your picture I see the hose running to the stock bov, but I see 2 problems. (A) The diverter valve is oriented backwards, and (B) it looks as if the vacuum source nipple is broken off the valve, and it's definitely not hooked up. It pretty much looks as if he just left the valve on there to plug both the intake return and the charge pipe feed. I can guarantee you that every time you shift your car is going mega-rich, and every time the idle drops when you come to a stop it's also doing the same. Also, I'm not sure why you'd want to waste the money on the Cobb Accessport when you can find someone off here to tune your car for much cheaper using EcuFlash and achieve the same results, but hey...it's your money.

First I'd worry about your UICP/DV situation.

Thanks for the input. I think I am either gonna cap them or leave it the way it is. What do u think would be better? Anyone else have any ideas?
