Help with return line on FPR kit

I bought a new evo AMS FPR kit (the fuel lab one) the install manual did not help at all. First of all my fuel lab fpr is different than the one here:
http://www.amsperformance.com/store/...n_DSC05077.JPG

My fpr is this one:

It is the fuel lab 525 fpr. is anyone using this?

On the bottom there are no ports at all. The manual says to plug the port on the right and attach the return line on the bottom. In my case there is no bottom port so I had to attach the return line to the right of the FPR. AFRs are ok and fuel pressure is ok (41 psi at idle) However, I had to screw the adjustment screw all the way in to get 41 psi. Is this normal?
I also have lower idle rpm after the install.

thank you

There's not a plug on the bottom that you can unscrew?

no plugs on the bottom at all. return line is on the right as the pic shows. hopefully this is an fpr for a turbocharged car and not a carburated one. I have a fuel pressure gauge that shows pressure is rising with boost. i am getting tuned tomorrow so i will see how it works.

What does the pressure read at idle? If it is around what it is supposed to be then i'd say your fine. If they were both supply inlets and you had both feed and return lines going into it then your pressure would be extremely low if not 0psi. Hope that helped. Good luck.

I would just return that product you don't really need a FPR, as you can see Buschur went 9.04 with the stock regulator.
