Exedy twin disk questions....

..Alright well ive gone through my second clutch at only 65k. I do drive the car quite hard but i do not consider my self an incompentant driver, i guess anyone would say that but ive been driving standerds since i was 5.

I just wanna know what the everyday guys opinion is on this clutch im gonna buy it from shep, heres the link: http://sheptrans.com/driveline/evo.htm. Its the Exedy Wasabi Twin Ceramic Clutch Kit, i really dont wanna do the clutch in this car again. I plan on goin evo green on a stock motor in the future.

Should i spring for that clutch or should i just go with the stage 2, 3 puck from exedy? I replaced my stocker with a exedy stage 1 organic and flywheel combo. only last 25k.

Any relative input would be great. Thanks guys

I also have the Exedy HD Twin for over 2 years now and it's been a good clutch with no high RPM lockout issues. The clutch pedal feel is not like stock. It's a bit stiffer, but you get used to it.

ya its not my daily driver so it being a little less managable on a daily basis isnt a bad thing.

I use my Twin Disk for daily driving, it's just a bit more stiff than stock.I recently have been helping my nephew look for a Evo to buy and when I pushed the clutch pedal in on a stocker I almost went through the floor board, Lol. The stocker is very easy and soft to push in, the Twin Disk just requires more pressure. Mine was a little noisy at idle and and light acceleration in the beginning. After about of 1000 miles of use, it quieted down. I only now hear the plates rattle a little when I decelerate.

I have the act hdss and I would much rather have the exedy twin.. The act pedal is a bit stiffer than a twin disc but the twin can hold more power

it really depends on how you drive it and how much you launch it and what type of driving you do

My twin disk has about 40,000 miles on it now. I am starting to hear alot of chatter and noise when I decelerate. Wondering if its just the typical twin disk noise or my transfer case.
