Another one for ya,

Since I am going back to Cali, what weight of motor oil should I use. Considering the mountains and hills compared to Florida's flatlands.

Also will that weight of oil be good for the cross country trip I am about to do next week.

From now on get all your oem supply's from Mitsubishiparts.net. Russell will treat you right and if you have a question on anything he can help you out.

They are a vendor on this site.

My personal recommendation for the 5-speed Evo transmission is the Redline cocktail: http://www.maperformance.com/redline...smissions.html

I use and recommend the OEM Mitsu 90W DiaQueen in the transfer case and rear differential.

Before I even open my mouth to ask for my next fluid he says,"Thats plenty to do the tranny too!"

WTF! 1gallon of diaqueen to do the TC, diff, and tranny?

I tell him that the tranny fluid is diffrent its 75w90 and he says its the same thing.

So am I wrong ,I know the fluid charts has two diffrent pics of oil canasters .
So many people make mistakes in providing instructions. I would just double check it, that's all.

The MT-90 is a bit thicker than Mitsu-spec which is why I like to mix 2 quarts of MT-90 with 1 quart of MTL. Redline recomends 1 MT-90 and 2 MTL, but I like to run a little thicker. It works great even at -20F and 100F+.

Yep, I just had a clutch job done (Quartermaster twin disk) by Strictly Modified (both in a single review) and I used Redline MT-90 lightweight in the trans. and Redline shock proof in the tranny case, and everything is smooth as can be.
