for wide open pulls around 7500. i really babied this car..never launched it once and rarely other than during tuning pulls went over 6500 rpms and at the most once per week. its just really bad luck i guess.

sh*t happens..when you modifiy i guess there are always risks. i was kind of surprised considering the number of guys running 500whp on the stock block. but time to move on and get the car back up and running again.

i would go with a 2.3 if your goin with a red turbo that would be a nice street car. im goin with that set up with another evo in the shop.

Sorry to hear about your engine man, it was cyllinder 3 on mine, and I have a hole in both sides of the block Have no fear though, the guys on here will definitely help you out.

Wow, the two I've seen do it have both been number 2, I thought there might be a link there, guess it was just random.

Sorry to hear it though, good luck.

And I agree with gamebred, there are definately more that pop then we know about. Dunno if its just not somn they wanna post about or worried about the tuner, though its not like they really have any control over it.
