Thinking about swaping the Xede for the E-man/e-o1
I need some help with this decision because I'm wanting more power, but I feel that I am stuck with the Xede and their maps. I want more control of the power that I will be making and feel that I am stuck with what I got. Granted the Xede is a awesome piece. There hasn't been one mod that I have done that has given me more power and made my car run better. Truly a clean, safe, and awesome piece and mad props go to Shiv for all the tuning time and work that he and his crew have done. It has been VERY reliable and is perfect for plug and play. I also ordered the software, but haven't got my password yet, to maybe tune along with the mods that I have.
So I am wondering what I should do in this case because I am really at a stand still. I know the Xede is awesome, but people that are turning some really good times all have separate air/fuel, and boost controls. Does anybody run low 12's, 11's withe the Xede yet? I know for a fact there are many people running into the 11's with the greddy combo. Before I get flamed, I drive this car every day, and drag race it also. I live in PA and MI so I know how to turn, and I know how to go straight.
I eventually will do a turbo upgrade this winter and I'm not sure if I can have the Xede tuned for that either. I also heard that the Vishnu Stage 2 turbo upgrade with the 3037s will be available soon, but also very costly. I'm not sure if I want to buy the kit yet or not? But I feel that I am stuck with just that kit , am I wrong?
Granted that I want the best for my car, I just don't know what I should get or do next. I feel that I am being held back in the area of a/f, and boost control which are huge tuning factors. I also have access to an AWD dyno for tuning in either case, I just need some guidance for the board members.

Did you see this thread? It is pretty informative:

Thanks for the link. I'm still at a stand still though because I don't know if I should sell the Xede and wait for a full standalone, or work with the Xede on a dyno till something better comes out. I think I should be in at least the high 12's, don't you?

See what the AEM has to offer. I know some people are working with them right now. I also am in the same boat as you but I have not bought anything for my car because I do not know who to go with. I posted something to shiv's thread about what if I have a xede and want to put in cam gears or something like that. I guess it's too bad. I think Buschur is working on a AEM and I would wait and see what he does. Then you can use shiv's killer exhaust dave's turbo kit. HKS cams and whatever you want because you can fully tune the car.
