I wanted to show you guys something I've been working on.
wow, indy....banned again.......i was going to post a link to a thread someone made yesterday about all the BS that has been going on on this forum lately, but apparently the powers that be deleted it.
Indy for Mod Status

Indy for Mod Status

Yep, I've talked to him several times today about different ideas and other parts that I want r&d'd. We must have spent an hour on one little thing that might be really cheap, but very productive to our times. During that conversation, he told me that vendor status has been applied for and the money has been paid by Wilson Manifolds. Not sure what the hang up is now. I know, he's trying his best to get it resolved, as well as the powers that be at Wilson Manifolds. This is the same group of people that own several companies related to racing around the world. I think a lot will be brought to the table in the near future. Now, if we can just get him past the Vendor Status issues. With Indy being one of the Wilson gang, the sky may be the limit for new parts.

hotrod, Indy says he taught you everything you know. Was he lying to me again? Last time he lied, he told me that I couldn't reach him on the phone because Bosco the wonder dog was ordering ice cream from Schwans.
Also next time you talk to him ask him if he knows a guy in Brownsburg, IN named Mark Alderson.
I don't know why Indy is such a ********, but for the life of me, he never contributes anything to this forum........oh, ohhhhhhhh. Do I see a new vendor online? I take it all back, he's baaaaccccckkk!
Amazing work Jim! 9sec9 i told you to get a hold of me when you were getting ready to do this. I could have helped with some of the cost. Oh well looks great amazing work keep us updated on availability.

The long and the short of the diff eliminator is this: I needed a spool for my own car and the rear diffs that I already had broken. I have one in the car and two (a backup that whined a little and one with broken spider gears) that needed to be fixed. I asked Indy to take the whiner, since that's what he does best
, pull it apart and see what we need to do to make a spool. He took over from there. He cleaned, measured, re-measured and contacted his own shops that he's always known and worked with for years. His contact shop owner is the engineer we've referred to in previous posts. It's my understanding that since the 60's, this guy has built spools for professional teams as well as many other custom, specialty pieces. Metallurgy is childs play to this guy. Material is in his shop, ready to go to build almost anything. He stepped up for us and said he would do it. As most custom things, the price per unit is cheaper on a volume basis. I only needed 2 and MAYBE a backup, but no more than that. I ordered 10 units with FULL treatment, no cuts to be made in quality. I was never in this to get into the business, just to fix my problem. If others can use them, fine. They're Indy's project as far as I'm concerned and he's in control of all of the units. The 'whiner' diff is being fitted with the first unit, as well as the unit sitting in my garage as soon as I get it to him. Where the other units go, or when, is up in the air. He's received offers to buy all of the rights to them and their future, which I have relinquish to his decision. That's pretty much it. Indy, great job and welcome to EvoM, FINALLY, as a VENDOR.
