Okay, well i am curious about the gearing in my 06's ix se evo. I got it about 2 weeks ago and i am trying to figure some things out. I having been checking the mphs while in certain gears. 1st has a decently long gear, then 2nd and 3rd seems really short then 4th seems good then to 5th. By 105-110 mph, im shifting out of 4th gear to 5th. Im really not used to that at all. I used to have a 99gsx and it wasnt nothing like that. It may sound like a dumb question but is that completely normal on a 06' ix evo (not mr).

 

Yea its normal. Quick acceleration and then an overdrive 5th gear.
