Recently while entering the highway I noticed that while in second gear, my shift was a little past 7,000 rpm. Didn't think too much about it until last night. I decided to run the rpm up to the rev limiter. In second gear I ran the tach up to about 7600-7800 rpm and never bumped the limiter. What's the deal? My car has not had any mods at all.
For whatever reason, I was thinking the rev limiter was at 7,000!
