Ok, I already have a HKS 264/272 in. I just purchased a set of 272/272. My question is, can I just take out the 264 and bleed the lifters or is it better for me to remove both and bleed all lifters? Another question, should I just use oil to lubricate it or should I use the assembly lubrication? Thanks in advance.

Just remove the 264 cam and bleed those lifters. Use engine assembly lube. Why did you purchase a 272/272 set when you already have one of the 272's?

 

Because they don't usually want to sell just one of the cams. I will be selling the 264/272 once I got it out

 

I didn't use assembly lube on my install of the 264/272. Is that going to be a problem? I mean, the car seem to run normal.
