Unhappy what to do

hey guys n gals. been a member for quite some time but this is my first thread.

to make a long story short. i hav a recently built a stroker, and along w/ it i installed a new oil pump assembly. well not even 5k miles and the oil pump failed. and now i hav no oil pressure. my gauge reads 0 at idle and 10 at 2500 rpm, and along w/ it there is a ticking noise. i was limping it home, and noticed the ticking noise then i barely got my food on the gas, like when im holding it steady at 55mph. my engine builder seems to think i got a bad bad main or rod bearing. so now the question, as of this past friday im officially laid off from my job and need the cheapest and smartest route to get this problem solved. can i have the crank turned, and go w/ thicker bearings, or do i hav to buy a new crank.

cheapest fast fix would probably be to trade your bad built motor to someone with the time and money to rebuild yours. They spend the cash to replace some bearings and reassemble the engine and you have a reliable stock block to drive again. A trade plus cash sounds fair. Less down time for you and someone elses gain you know.
