hallman mbc?

hallman mbc?

recently bought hallman rx manual boost controller (befpre anyone says "search"i have )
have a two part question :

-i see most people put the stiff spring in should i do the same?

-i understand how to install the way hallman says but i also see some people say to go off the bov?
which is the better way ? nwhich line should i use the new hose with and which one shoulkd i use the old one ? pics?/links?
-i also have injen uicp n intake and aps bov

Really the mbc will work either way. Some people experience surging when they tap the bov, others don't. Good thing is it takes 3 minutes to swap hoses around if that happens to you. Try both ways!

I'm not sure on the spring thing. I don't know what their spring rates are. The forge Heavy spring doesn't start to bleed off air until about 25 psi, so I'd start with the light spring and work from there. Not enough boost can be fixed. Too much off the bat and things go bye bye.

Oh, use new hoses. The stock hoses have restrictor pills inside them. That's gonna defeat the mbc. I would tap the turbo outlet for boost reference to the mbc, then back to the wg. That's how I have mine run and it's fine.

i have mine the same way, turbo outlet to MBC then back to wg, pretty easy install also, and like the above post said def use the new lines
