stratmosphere hyperboost diverter valve

Just wondering if anyone has looked into these as a viable alternative for a diverter valve. I know a few audi/porsche guys with these and they love them. I especially like the adjustability of them.

I'm just not sure if they'll fit... they don't mention Mitsu at the bottom. I'll email them to see what's up.

Subject: diverter valves

Hi there-

I was wondering if the HyperBoost d/v will fit on the 2003 Mitsubishi EVO VIII. I'm just looking for d/v alternatives at this point. My other option is of course the Forge recirc.

Thanks!

They do look nice. I may end up testing for them so we'll see what happens. I'll update this thread as I find out more.

Yeap, watch them. They already copied our VW/Audi valves as they were the major supplier of Forge valves into the US for years.

I have had both Forge and Hyperboost Dv,s in my VW's and Audi's. I had a Hyperboost in my 337 Gti and found it to be a very nice DV, that provided nice crisp action with no boost bleed-off. It also looked great, and was priced competitively. I need to call Pete or Bob to see whats-up, its been a while!

I would like to think we improved upon what Forge had done. I know we have. We hope to bring a valve to this market that everyone will be thrilled with. You will be the judge. Stay tuned. Pete Ryckaert, Stratmosphere

Hey all-

Just an update: I got a Forge d/v for a great price, so I'm tweaking that now. No it doesn't mean I won't be trying the Stratmosphere either, but I just wanted to let you know that if I do I'll get to do a Forge/HB/Stock comparo.

yes, we can use this one with inly a minor mods to the tubing due to differenece in size. it works great, no leaks, great sound and hold the boost perfect.

I saved my Hyperboost from my VW GTI 337 when I traded it in on my Evo. I looked at the tubing size and it didn't look too different. How much different is it??

I'd like to adapt my Hyperboost to the Evo rather than spend another $100+ on a new one.
