engine dyno...
engine dyno...
been mapping another customer engine at the shop...
was logging a good amount of channels for analysis:
inlet pressure and temp, post restrictor pressure, compressor outlet pressure and temp, intercooler inlet temp intercooler outlet pressure and temp, inlet manifold pressure and temp, individual EGTs, turbo shaft speed, water flow and pressure, and about 15 more channels...
so, here is a short video clip of a short load (typical time per "pull" is between 10-15 minutes at a static rpm).

and video of testing...

Nice to see the use of a engine dyno
Mark
just mapping spare engine for upcoming test... i was contracted to do the wiring, electronics, engine ancillaries and calibration...
we have two in house engine dynos (superflow and froude)... much better engine control and stability than using chassis dynos.
