Hey guys, recently my vacuum pressure has been reading low. Normally its about 18 in. hg. at ide. Now it's sitting around 14. My boost still seems to be hitting the same 23psi. Is it possible to have a vacuum leak without having a boost leak and can I find a vacuum leak using a boost leak tester?

 

if memory services me correct vac lines will play with your idle usually more so than anything else

FYI vacuum leak == boost leak

Do a boost leak test and find the source of the problem.

 

Its possible you do have a boost leak but you're still making the same 23 psi, your turbo is just working harder to do it. Definitely do a boost leak test and go from there.
